the Côte vermeille

Cross-Border Sea Kayak Crossing

Between Borders

A unique experience linking France and Catalonia. Maritime villages steeped in history and wild, rugged cliffs.

Vineyards to the Sea

A stretch of coast where vineyards descend all the way to the Mediterranean, creating a landscape that beautifully combines dramatic cliffs.

Marine Reserve

The French coast hides one of the areas richest in aquatic life. The Banyuls Marine Reserve offers an unforgettable snorkeling experience.

The Sea Kayak Expedition

Two days to explore the Côte Vermeille and the Mar d’Amunt from a privileged perspective: the sea. Paddling along the northern Costa Brava and crossing the maritime border until reaching Cap de Creus, one of the wildest natural spaces in the Mediterranean.

Bivouac Under the Stars

We camp (bivouac) in small, quiet coves that are only accessible by paddling. Enjoy the pure silence, the open sky, and the sea just a step away. It’s a simple, authentic way to experience the Mediterranean.

Collioure, Port-Vendres, and Banyuls from the Sea

We navigate past some of the most iconic coastal villages of the French Mediterranean. Collioure, with its rich artistic and seafaring history. Port-Vendres, a natural harbor nestled between the mountains. Banyuls-sur-Mer, a key milestone of the route and the gateway to the Marine Reserve.

Banyuls Marine Reserve

The Cerbère-Banyuls Marine Reserve is one of the greatest treasures of this crossing. It is a pioneering protected space in the French Mediterranean, boasting exceptional marine biodiversity. As you paddle through, the clarity of the water and the vibrant underwater life create a truly unique environment—a moment on the route where silence and nature take absolute center stage.
