Who is behind the project
Behind Inua Kayak are Anelia Petkova Trendafilova and Jordi Patau Sarriera. We love the sea, we love the land, and we love sharing our knowledge with others in a simple, approachable, and uncomplicated way.
This project was born out of great enthusiasm and a clear vision: we believe in the beauty and allure of the Costa Brava, not just for what you see, but for how you experience it. That’s why we want to share it step by step, trip by trip, with those who want to discover it from the sea.
We experience the Costa Brava from the water. We’re drawn to its rugged coastline, the coves accessible only by paddling, the changing light, the wind, and the state of the sea. We believe that sea kayaking is one of the best ways to truly get to know it: without rushing, without noise, and at its own pace.
We like to work with small groups, adapting to each person’s skill level and explaining what we see as we paddle: the coastline, the surroundings, and the significance of each section. No frills or artifice. Just kayak, sea, and territory.
Anelia
Anelia brings a calm perspective and a deep connection to her surroundings. She enjoys reading the sea and guiding people to gradually gain confidence in kayaking, without pressure.
Jordi
Jordi has a very direct connection to the Costa Brava and its coastline. He enjoys sharing the coast from the water and helping people navigate sea kayaks safely and responsibly.
We are certified Level 2 Sea Kayak Instructors by the Royal Spanish Canoeing Federation and have experience in coastal paddling in this area. Here, safety and common sense always take precedence over distance or route.
We are embarking on this journey with enthusiasm and respect for the place where we paddle. If you’d like to experience the Costa Brava from the inside, we’d be delighted to accompany you.
