Eight days paddling along the entire coast, entering caves and experiencing the sea for real.
Bivouac in coves and logistical support by land for safety and flexibility.
Cova D'en Gispert, Medes Islands, Cap de Creus, Cadaqués and border with France.
Eight days to cross the Costa Brava from end to end, following the coastline from Blanes to Portbou. A self-sufficient crossing, bivouacking on quiet beaches with logistical support on land to move equipment or resolve any unforeseen issues. We paddled leisurely, savoring every rock, every cove, and every change in scenery.
One of the most beautiful stretches of the entire route. We sailed through rocky passages, secluded coves, and legendary caves like Cova d’en Gispert. Vertical cliffs, filtered light, and a vibrant coastline that combines snorkeling, natural shade, and an incredible palette of blues.
A perfect stretch to understand why the Costa Brava is so special: its seabed, underwater cliffs, and a natural park that never fails to surprise. The pace is steady, with stops to explore, rest, or simply float for a while.
We entered Cap de Creus, where the wind reigns supreme and the landscape is rugged. Sharp rocks, narrow passages, tiny coves, and a sea so clear it seems otherworldly. We passed through Cadaqués, understood why Dalí was so fascinated by these shapes, and crossed the tip of Cap de Creus, a moment that always commands respect.
The wildest part of the entire Costa Brava. Less development, more unspoiled nature. Secluded coves, rugged cliffs, and a sense of isolation that truly connects you with the environment. We ended up crossing the border into France by sea, arriving in Portbou with the feeling of having accomplished something great.
The stages are around 20–30 km per day, always adjusting the route according to the weather: Blanes → Portbou or Portbou → Blanes. We spend the nights bivouacking in quiet coves, seeking silence, clear skies, and the feeling of being away from the world.
The journey is led by guides certified by the Spanish Federation and accredited by the Natural Park, locals who know how to read the sea, adjust the pace, and find hidden corners that don’t appear on maps.
